Family: Parents (both deceased), younger brother Joshua, 15 years old (deceased and missing).


Background: Rosette and Joshua lost their parents when they were very young when the ship they were on sank and sent the Christopher siblings lives into a downward spiral. They were effectively ignored during the time after their parents deaths, and were shuffled off into an orphanage soon afterwards. Because of this, they made a promise to each other that they'd become adults together. They spent most of their childhood at the seventh bell orphanage, but when one of their fellow orphans fell and broke his leg, Joshua showed the rare ability to heal the injury. But this new power came with a price, and he began to have seizures and become sick. Because of this, Rosette decided that she wanted to become a doctor to take care of her brother, and would steal him away when ever a potential 'parent' would threaten to separate him from her. Especially when Father Remington from the Magdelane Order came to visit.

During one of these outings the siblings stumbled across a tomb that held the demon Chrno for the last fifty years. Dispite his threats that he was a demon, Rosette eagerly offered him candies to help return his energy, and the three became quick friends. This union though, came with a price as well, as it attracted Chrno's brother in arms, Aion, to the younger of the siblings.

While Joshua was having a particularly bad attack, he agreed to go with Father Remington to get stronger, and Rosette hurried to Chrno to tell him what happened. While they were separated, Aion came to Joshua and gave him Chrno's horns. Unable to handle the power, Joshua went insane and destroyed the seventh bell orphanage in front of his sister and friend when they came to try and help him, and then was stolen away by Aion's eagle.

Desperate to have her brother back, Rosette contracted Chrno to help her find and save her brother, by giving up her life time or her 'soul' to him so he could have the power to help her. They spent four years with the Magdelane order training and looking for Joshua, before a picture of her brother surfaced, and the 'Chrno Crusade' story really started.



Personality traits: Quick-tempered, optimistic, cheerful, stubborn, determined, very protective of the people she cares about.


Summery of her time in the City:Since going back to her world once, and loosing her memory of the time she had there before, Rosette has gone through many things. A few events to really highlight would be Chrno breaking the seal during a curse day and draining a large amount of her life away, as he had in San Francisco back in their world. Because of this, she had only a few years of life left. She also started a relationship with Doumeki Shizuka, who she really loved and cared about.
Unfortunately, due to a slip up during a curse, Joshua found out about them and proceeded to torture Doumeki until Yuuko had to make a deal to get him out of that situation. Unable to talk to Rosette for a while, and then the re-arrival of Chrno, Doumeki decided that he was unable to keep up with the whirlwind that always surrounded Rosette. He ended their relationship soon afterwards.
The nun finally met her end at the hands of Joshua, after he had gotten hold of the life watch during a scuffle with Chrno, when he was wearing it. He unsealed the watch multiple times before finally letting it run out, and shot her in the stomach to just put a nail in her coffin. She revived the day afterwards, the contract no more. Aion reappeared as well half way though this situation, and only helped the younger Christopher to complete his ‘revenge’.

Rosette and Chrno’s relationship has been growing since he returned to the city without his memories, and she has finally admitted to him (several months after he admitted it to her) that she loved him. The future though, is uncertain. ⨪
